Jo Christy (she/her) is a Naarm based DJ, producer and party host, running Queer parties (Transenergy and Work Wife) with a focus on tasteful and fun music played by local legends and international headliners.
Jo is inspired by the trans and Queer DJs she plays alongside, and wants her music to contribute to creating spaces for her community to connect and share in the club scene and beyond. Her own sound is an uplifting blend of house, techno, hardgroove, UKG and progressive house and trance, with her love of diverse genres showing through in nuanced and expressive mixes.
